This trip takes you on a journey of discovery through authentic and fascinating Mexico. An itinerary rich in culture, nature and wonder, the perfect balance between adventure and relaxation.

Days 1 - 2

France / Mexico

Take-off for Mexico City. Welcome at the airport. Transfer to your hotel. Dinner on your own. Night at your hotel.
We have breakfast. Visit to the National Museum of Anthropology (closed on Mondays). Discover the ancient floating garden city of Tenochtitlan. A boat trip that will plunge you straight into Mexican gastronomy and joie de vivre. Traditional picnic on the boats at the end of the morning. Visit to Constitution Square, known as the «Zocalo», and the cathedral.
Stop at Plaza de los tres Culturas, built on the former main square of the city of Tlatelolco. Walk around Place Garibaldi, famous for its mariachis. Mexican-style dinner. Overnight at your hotel.

Breakfast. Visit to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Drive to Teotihuacan. Pulque and Tequila tasting. Buffet lunch with pre-Hispanic dances. Visit to the site of Teotihuacan, which in Mexican mythology means "the place where the gods were born". This is the most important site of the classical era. Return to Mexico City. Dinner and overnight stay. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 3

Day 4

Mexico City, Tuxla Gutierrez, San Cristobàl de las Casas

Very early start. Breakfast with packed lunch. Transfer to airport. Assistance with check-in formalities. Flight to Tuxtla Gutierrez. Continuation to Chiapa de Corso and lunch.
Motorboat trip (weather permitting) through the Sumidero Canyon. Continuation to San Cristobal de las Casas. Dinner in a typical «braziero» restaurant. Check-in at your hotel for two nights.
We have breakfast. Departure for the picturesque village of San Juan Chamula and visit of its curious church, where astonishing ceremonies are held: shamans heal Chamulas suffering from spiritual illnesses. Continue on to the village of Zinacantan. Meet an Indian family who will show you how to prepare tacos (tasting).
Traditional lunch with the Indian community. Return to San Cristobal. Visit of the town and market. Dinner and free time to enjoy the charm of this beautiful colonial city.

Day 5

Day 6

San Cristóbal De Las Casas, Palenque

Early departure for Palenque. Simple breakfast en route at a traditional coffee plantation. Stop at the Agua Azul waterfalls. Free time and opportunity for a swim. Lunch of grilled fish in a restaurant at the foot of the waterfalls.
Continuation to Palenque. Visit to the ruins of Palenque, lost amid lush vegetation. Check-in at the hotel, followed by an opportunity to discover Mexican culture: try your hand at breaking a piñata. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Departure for the Gulf of Mexico. Departure for the Gulf of Mexico. Lunch by the sea, tasting the famous «ceviche». Drive to Campeche, recently declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Visit Campeche, the only walled city in Mexico. Stroll through the historic center. Dinner and overnight stay in Campeche.

Day 7

Palenque, Campeche

Campeche / Uxmal / Merida

Breakfast. Drive to Uxmal. Stop at a Mayan cemetery and discover the brightly-colored, highly-decorated tombs. Visit to the archaeological site of Uxmal, considered by some to be one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
Lunch of Yucatecan specialities in a traditional restaurant. Continuation to Mérida. Mérida is the capital of the state of Yucatán. Visit to the Cathedral, Plaza Mayor and Paseo Montejo, and the covered market.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

We have breakfast. Departure for Izamal, a picturesque Yucatan village whose predominant color is yellow. Short panoramic tour. Izamal is also one of the most important pilgrimage sites in southern Mexico.
Lunch. Continuation to Chichen Itza. Visit the site. See the pyramid of Kukulcan, the temple of the warriors, the tomb of Chac Mool, the famous sacred cenote (place of sacrifices) and the pelota court. Dinner and overnight at hotel. .

Day 9

Merida / Izamal / Chichen Itza

Day 10

Chichen Itza / Cancun / France

Breakfast on board. Drive to Cancun. Transfer to airport. Lunch at leisure. Assistance with check-in formalities. Flight to France. Dinner and overnight on board.
Breakfast on board, then arrival in France later in the day.
