Flight to Edinburgh. Transfer to hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in the Edinburgh or Glasgow area.
City tour of Edinburgh. Visit the medieval quarter, the Royal Mile, St. Giles Cathedral, Charlotte Square and the new town with its Georgian houses... Visit Edinburgh Castle, towering 120 m above the city. Lunch. Visit to the National Museum of Scotland.
Edimbroug on a trip to Scotland
Drive to Stirling, the historic gateway to the Highlands, where William Wallace confronted the English in 1292. Visit the castle, surrounded by beautiful Renaissance mansions and mysterious cobbled streets. Drive to the Highlands, a region renowned for its whisky. Lunch on site. Visit to a distillery. Dinner and overnight stay in Aberdeen.

Aberdeen

Visit Crathes Castle. It is located in Aberdeenshire, in the north of Scotland. Drive to Aberdeen, Britain's major oil port. Lunch. Panoramic tour of this "granite city", including St. Machar's Cathedral. Dinner and overnight stay.
Drive to the north-east of the country and visit the Culloden battlefield. This battle put an end to the power of the Highlanders. Continuation to Inverness. Lunch on board. Panoramic tour of Inverness, capital of the Highlands. Stop to discover this small town. Dinner and overnight stay in Aviemore or Inverness.

Day 5

Aviemore or Inverness, Loch Ness, Isle of Skye, Fort William or Tyndrum

Drive to the Isle of Skye, linked to the mainland by a bridge. The island alternates between dreamy landscapes, mauve mountains and high cliffs. Stop at Loch Ness, famous for its ’Nessie" monster. Photo stop at Eilean Donan Castle. Situated on an island where three sea lochs meet. Tour of the south of the island. Lunch on board. Ferry to the mainland. Continuation to Fort William on the shores of Loch Linnhe. Dinner and overnight stay in Fort William or Tyndrum.
Aviemore on a trip to Scotland
Crossing Glencoe, one of the most famous valleys in the Highlands (depending on time constraints and hotel location). Mini-cruise on Loch Lomond. Lunch on board. Continuation to Glasgow for an orientation tour of the city. Dinner and overnight stay in the Edinburgh or Glasgow area.

Fort William or Tyndrum, Glencoe, Loch Lomond, Glasgow

Day 8

Edinburgh / Departure airport

Transfer to Edinburgh airport. Flight to your departure airport.
